A Traditional Boat Builder, is a photo series / work in progress, documenting the routines and working lives of individuals within an isolated community of traditional boat builders on the South West coast of Cornwall, UK.

This project explores the themes of craftsmanship and the beauty of slow, traditional work. It highlights the value of working with natural materials and the importance of industries rooted in traditional methods, especially within the current global environmental context. The project captures a lifestyle and craft that blend functionality with artistry, deeply embedded in native Cornish maritime culture.
